At Vivid Care, we carefully match survivors with caregivers who are sensitive to these concerns — including staff who speak Russian, Yiddish, Hebrew, and other languages common in the survivor community.

Our caregivers provide:

• Personal care assistance including bathing, hygiene, and grooming — delivered with patience and respect for personal boundaries
• Companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and loneliness
• Meal preparation with attention to dietary preferences and cultural traditions
• Light housekeeping and home maintenance assistance
• Medication reminders and health monitoring
• Transportation to medical appointments and community activities
• Respite care to support family members who serve as primary caregivers

Funding Available — Including Claims Conference

Vivid Care is an approved Claims Conference provider. Survivors who qualify can receive funded home care services directly through our agency, with no out-of-pocket cost. The Claims Conference provides grants specifically for Nazi victims who meet income and need requirements.

Additional funding may be available through Medicaid home care and New York State Holocaust Survivor Services programs. Our care coordinators will help your family identify every available source of support and guide you through the process from start to finish.
